Gift with warranty from John Guyneth', tailor, of Coventr' to Robert Burdet of Kyngushull' in the lordship of Stonley and Joan his wife, of one messuage and one half virgate of land with appurtenances in the vill and fields of Fynham in the parish and lordship of Stonley which messuage and half virgate of land with appurtenances, etc. once belonged to Geoffrey Clerc' and Ydonia his wife; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: William Staleworth' of Stonley, Thomas Blakenhale of the same, John Undurwode of the same, Roger Stokke of Fynham, William Clerk' of the same and many others. Dated at Fynham, Thursday after the Feast of St. Gregory the Pope, 22 Richard II. Seal missing. The tag is a fragment of an indenture of lease from Sir John Boteler, Baron de Werynton and Lord of Eccleshale to John Smyth' of the same and Isabella his wife.
