Description

Gift with warranty from Robert de Balscote of Kyngeshull', son and heir of Richard de Balscote of Kyngeshull',and Agnes wife of the said Robert, to William Rudde of Prestwelle of all his lands and tenements in Kyngeshulle within the Manor of Stonleye, together with that messuage which William de Kynesbury holds with all other appurtenances, etc. together with the reversion of all lands, etc. which Margery de Balscote, mother of the grantor, holds in the name of dower; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Nicholas Sweyn of Hurst, Alexander de Schirford' of Kyngeshulle, John son of Philip Johannis, Richard Daddeley, Richard Longemor of Hurst and others. Dated at Kyngeshulle, Monday in the Feast of St. Mary Magdalen, 16 Edward III. Seal on tag: circular, red. A running stag. Legend indecipherable.
