Description

Lease with warranty from Arthur Gregorye of Stivechall, esq. to Roger Dunton' of Bagginton, husbandman, for £10 of a tenement called the Corner House in Stivechall lying to the west of the orchard of the said Arthur, late in the tenure of Henry Saunders; and also of a croft in Canley, late in the tenure of Thomas Hancorne adjoining the waste of the said Arthur called Locksmythull; to hold the same from Michaelmas last for a term of 15 years, rendering annually 12 pence, a capon at Easter and one penny at Michaelmas, and also rendering suit of court at the times customary in Stivechall and Kingeshull; and should the said Roger at any time during the said term wish to surrender his lease on the repayment of 10 pounds, then he will have the first offer of taking up a new lease.
