Fletchampstead in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Licence of alienation to John Wade, gent., for 17s. 7d., to grant to Henry Over of the city of Coventr', alderman, Richard Over, son of the said Henry, and William Phynes of the same place, mercer, a messuage, lands, tenements with appurtenances and woodland in Flechamstede, in the occupation of Richard Humfrey and late belonging to the priory of Stoneley; also all lands in Flechamstede, now in the occupation of Walter Smythe, and late belonging to the said priory; and also two parcels of woodland in Flechamstede, now in the occupation of Hugh Blower, and late of the said priory. Dated: 12 February, 3 Elizabeth. On tag, great seal. Endorsed: a lycens of Alynacion from John Wade gentleman to Henrey Over and others.
