Feoffment from Robert Asheby of Stivhale to Thomas Gregory, esq., Henry Brunt, senior, Thomas Walford, John Smyth, Henry Gregory, Cutbert Hill, Henry Brunt, junior, and William Walford of one croft or close called Kingeswod lying in Flechamsted in the parish of Stonley, which the said Robert Asheby had formerly held jointly with Richard Hill, John Barrow, senior, John Barrow, junior, and John Sewall, deceased, by virtue of a grant of Thomas Chaplyn of Stychall, husbandman; to hold the said premises to the said Thomas Gregory, Henry Brunt, etc. of the chief lord of the fee. Dated: 16 April, 1 Mary Seal on tag: circular, green, broken. Arms of Gregory family, two bars and in chief a lion passant. Seisin delivered in presence of Richard Sheffeld, Richard Walford, William Vale, Richard Gregory, John Davy of Hill Wotton and others.
