Copy of the Will of Edmund Makepeace, Pemsham, co Worcester, Esq, mentions - to be buried in parish Church of Yardley, near late wife - friends Edward Townsend Kenwick, only son of Rev Edward Kenwick, deceased, Richard Taylor of Warwick, steward of my estates - my wife the only sister and heir of her late brother John Christopher Esq, who was only son and heir of Thomas Christopher Esq, who was only son and heir of Thomas Christopher of Stoke Prior Esq, and Alice his wife who was aunt of Job Marston, gent deceased, from whom the Yardley, Solihull and Hopwood Estates came to my wife - nephew Henry Wigley - grand nephew Edmund Wigley son of my said Nephew - grand nephew (blank) Lewis only son of my late niece Mary Lewis - grand niece Ann Wigley sister of the said Henry Wigley the younger - three grand nieces daughters of my late niece Mary Lewis - late sister Martha Greswold - Henry Greswold Esq - and my late 3 nephews, Humphrey, Marshall and John Greswold Esq. deceased. Proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury 26 May 1766, by Henry Wigley the elder, sole executor.
