Pebworth and Broad Marston, a release

Description

Conveyance by lease and release (lease missing) from Edmund Pembruge of Chipping Campden, co. Gloucs., gent. to Thomas Haines of Westington in Chipping Campden blacksmith, for £320, of three quarters of a yardland in Broad Marston and Pebworth known as Keyes or Robbins and a close of pasture in Broad Marston known as Yellowes, in the occupation of Charles Tysoe, and formerly devised by Anthony Goodwin to his sons Nathaniel Goodwin and Anthony Goodwin; who sold the same to the said Edmund Pembruge; to hold the same free from all encumbrances save a mortgage, recited (no. 9) since assigned to William Taylor esquire and then to Giles Whatcott silk-throwster to secure £230; which sum is to be repaid out of the purchase money.
