Grant by lady Agnes Hiband of Ippesleye, John Plome and Katherine his wife to Nicholas Sawcer, Richard Fylle and Thomas Compton of Stratford upon Auen, of a plot of land in Walkarestret `iuxta Auene', between a tenement of the Gild of the Holy Cross of Stratford on one side and a tenement of sir Thomas, rector of the Church of Aynho on the other Witnesses: William Wastyngton, `prepositus ville de Stratford', Thomas Trout and Nicholas Lacy `tunc bailliuis ibidem', Thomas Otyndon', John Pydele of the same and others Dated at Stratford, Tuesday after the feast of SS. Vitus and Modestus the martyrs, 40 Edw.III Seals: (1) White wax circular, broken: the letter N between palm branches. (Engraved in Fisher's Antiquities, no.68). (2) and (3) lost.
