Counterpart of lease, indented, from John Webbe, master of the Gild of the Holy Cross, etc. of Stratford upon Auen, and Reginald Fletcher and William Stratford, `taylour', proctors of the same, with the assent of the aldermen, to William Webbe, son of John Webbe of Welycote, and Juliana his wife, of a tenement in Stratford in Shepustrete between a tenement of the said Gild in which Robert Sulgraue, carpenter, dwelt, and a tenement of John Dodd, for 60 years at an annual rent of 10 shillings and a chief rent of 6 pence, the said William and Juliana to keep the tenement in good repair Witnesses: John Sclatter, `capitalis ballivus', John Mayel, junior, and John Harop, `subballivi', Hugh Salford, William Brasyer and others Dated at Stratford in the hall of the Gild Wednesday in the feast of St. Gregory the Pope, 16 Henry VI Seals of red wax.
