Indenture of lease by Thomas Cumpton, senior, and Walter Golde, aldermen of the Gild of the Holy Cross of Stratford upon Auen, and Robert Pynkes, Henry Smyth, proctors, and the other brethren of the same Gild, to John West and Alice his wife of two shops in Stratford in le Middelrewe between the shops of the butchers on one side and Henleystret on the other, for term of their lives, at an annual rent of 10 shillings Witnesses: Nicholas Saucer, William Westyngton, William Welyngton, John Chaucombe, John Regnalt and others Dated at Stratford, Sunday after Easter, 11 Richard II Seals, (two on one tag) (1) Brown wax, circular.
