Description

Gift with warranty from Robert Osbern of Hulle in the parish of Stonleye to William Dalyan of Helenhul of half an acre of land in the field of Hulle on le Shortefurlong lying between the land of the Abbot and Convent of Stonleye and the land which Alan de Hulle once held, and extending in length from the headland of Lowe to the meadow called Nethulmedwe; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee, rendering annually a rose on the feast of the Nativity of St. John Baptist; and for this the said William gives 3s. 6d. Witnesses: Alexander de Cruylefeld, John de Fynham, William Person, Henry Aleyn of Hulle, Geoffrey de Balscote of the same, John Henri of the same, Henry de la More of Cannele, Richard de Daddele of the same, Henry Rachel of Flicchamstude and others. Dated at Hulle, Saturday after St. Mary in March, 23 Edward I. Tag, seal lost.
