Description

Memorandum of agreement between George Lucy of Charlcott, esq., and Arthur Gregory of Stivichall, esq., in anticipation of the division between them before March 25 next of Finham Great Comon Feild by a quick-set hedge from Hill Grounds across the north west part of the field, to Stivichall Feild: namely that all that part of the field next to Stivichall town, and the grange, containing twenty-one acres, with Mr. Gregory's twelve lands adjoining shall be held by the said Arthur Gregory in lieu of all lands which he holds in the other part of Finham Feild agreed to be allotted to the said George Lucy, except Alderson meadow and the doles in Finham Long Meadow: in return for which the said George Lucy releases to the said Arthur Gregory all his right in lands in that part of Finham Feild allotted to the said Arthur Gregory. All custom of intercommoning between the common fields of Stivichall and Finham shall cease unless any other proprietor in Stivichall Feild can make out a legal right to such intercommoning.
