Description

Demise from William de Stoctone and Alice his wife, to Margery wife of Henry Severe, of lands which they had in Kyngeshulle by the gift of Henry Sever; to hold the same for life, rendering annually one rose at the feast of St. John the Baptist, the said Henry and Margery convenanting to find for the said Alice a competence of maintenance and clothing during the life of the said Margery for the term of the life of the said Alice; and the said Henry and Margery grant to the said William and Alice half of all their goods after the death of the said Henry and Margery and the survivor of them. Dated at Stonleye the Sunday next after the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 36 Edward III. Tag, seal lost. Endorsed: Alicia filia Johannis filii Henrici filii Alani [AG]
