Description

Gift in frankalmoign with warranty from Thomas, son of William le Seler of Burmingham to God and the Church of the Blessed Mary of Stanleya and the Monks there serving God, of a fourth part of one virgate of land in the territory of Hull' with a messuage and all its appurtenances, that quarter namely with the messuage which Hugh held when his father acquired the same land by a plea in the Halimote of Stanl'; to hold to the said monks, to be administered at the discretion of the prior and sub-prior. Witnesses: Richard, dean of Stanl', Simon de Cubint', William de Neuboud, Thomas de Finham, John de Stanl', Alexander de Meleburn' and many others. Seal on tag: a pointed oval, green.
