Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas Gregory of Coventr', esq. and Arthur Gregory of Stivechale, gent., to Thomas Cokayne, knight, Humphry Ferrers, esq., and Edward Holte, esq., for the making of a jointure for Jane, wife of the said Arthur, of the hamlets, lordships or manors of Kingeshull and Stivechale with appurtenances and all lands, tenements, rents and services in Kingeshull and Stivechale of the said Thomas and Arthur Gregory, excepting to the said Arthur the grange or capital messuage called Helinhull, alias Hullinghul, Grange in Kingeshull with all lands pertaining thereto in Kingeshull or in Flechamsted which grange was otherwise called the site of the manor of Kingeshull; to hold the said premises of the chief lord of the fee to the use of the said Arthur and Jane and their heirs male and in default of male issue to the use of the right heirs of the said Arthur in fee simple.
