Description

Copy of agreement between John Gange of Coventr', draper, and Master William Hudson of Coventr', whereby, for 12 pence paid to him by the said John, the said William agrees to bear the water dropping off and from the houses of the said John in Styvechale to void on the ground of the said William and from thence to the King's highway, where it was wont to void on the ground of John Clerk of Coventr', hosier, son and heir of John Clerk late of Styvechale; this to be done at the cost of the said Master William and without impediment of him or his heirs for evermore. Dated on Thursday next before the feast of St. Andrew the Apostle, 22 Edward IV.
