Kingshill in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Lease from Arthur Gregorie of Stivechale, esq., to George Marburie, citizen and haberdasher of London, of the grange or township of Kingeshull in the parish of Stonley and all messuages, houses, barns, closes, meadows, etc. in the said township or village, in the several tenures of William Fynnys, Richard Sharratt, Thomas Morris, John Cottall and William Strattforde; to hold the same for 60 years, rendering annually 10 pounds; and the said premises shall be free from all claims except two leases of 21 years apiece, made to William Dixsone and Thomas Harpeny, of parcels of land comprised in the said premises. Dated: 22 May, 24 Elizabeth. Seal on tag: oval, red. A demi-boar rampant, bristled and collared. Endorsed: a lese of the Grange landes
