Description

Release in all actions from Mary Gregory of London, widow of Edmund Gregory, gent., to John Gregory of Stivichall, esq., reciting a suit in the court of requests between the said Mary Gregory, plaintiff, and the said John Gregory, defendant, wherein the said Mary was awarded the sum of 120 pounds; which award became void on the abolition of the said court; and reciting that the said Mary had commenced a suit in Chancery to secure a confirmation of this award but, by the intervention of friends, an amicable settlement had in the meantime been reached; namely, that the said John Gregory should pay to the said Mary Gregory 80 pounds, of which 40 pounds is to be paid in hand; the remainder Abraham Boune of Coventry, gent., has secured by bond for the said Mary Gregory.
