Draft [by Thomas Gregory] of a subsidy roll for the City of Coventry giving payments made under each ward and the names of the collectors in each ward. Also the assessment for the `foreine' of Exall, Wykyn, Keresly and Radford, Sowe and Caloughdon, Ansty, Stichall, Stoke and Whitely and Folleshull. Attached is a copy [by Thomas Gregory] of the commission for the collection of the subsidy granted by parliament 37 Henry VIII, with a certificate dated 28 January, 35 Henry VIII [1543/4] by the Mayor and others, commissioners for the collection of the subsidy of 33 Henry VIII, that William Norton, draper, is assessed for 25 pounds and taxed at 16s. 8d.
