Description

Gift with warranty from John de Bohtseworht son of John de Boseworht of Egmanton' to Matilda, daughter of John de Boseworht of the same, of one acre and three rods of arable lying in diverse places in the fields of Egmanton'; namely half an acre in the west field on Colynghill', between land of Ely son of John on the west and land of John son of Matilda on the east; the other half acre in the east field between land of Richard Toppan on the south and land of William son of John on the north; and the three rods between land of John Toppan on the north and land of John son of John de Furmery on the south and abutting on Bondemurdyk'; to hold the same to the said Matilda and her heirs for ever of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: John Toppan' of Egmanton', Thomas son of Robert of the same, Roger Parker of the same and others. Dated at Egmanton', Sunday next after the feast of St. Nicholas 1364. Tag, seal lost.
