Kingshill in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Lease from Arthur Gregory of Stivichall, esq., to Thomas Harris of Hill, alias Kingshill, yeoman, of a messuage in Hill with the appurtenances, also a close called Newt Hills divided into three parts, the Greg Pools divided into two parts, a close called the Ling divided into four parts, several closes between Crosses House and the Lodge Leasures, and Alderstone Meadow; all which property is situated in Hill and was late in the tenure of John Harris, father of the said Thomas Harris, and now of the said Thomas Harris;

[A]lso two furlongs of arable meadow or pasture land in Stivichall, late part of the open field called Nether Field and then known as Finham and Alderstone Furlongs, but since the inclosure divided into five closes (reserving to the said Arthur Gregory the trees growing thereon) and now in the tenure of the said Thomas Harris; to hold the same for 21 years, rendering annually 114 pounds, with additional rents dependent upon the methods of husbandry.
