Deeds relating to the Red Lion Inn, Henley-in-Arden

Articles of agreement between William Holyoak of Morton Bagot, gent. and Hannah Baker of Henley-in-Arden, widow, for the sale and purchase of the Red Lion Inn, Henely-in-Arden together with lands late in the tenure of William Pretty for the sum of £900 of which £250 to be paid immediately and £200 to be paid before 29 September 1699, the residue of £450 to be secured by mortgage for payment in 1702, with interest at 4%. Signed and sealed Hannah Baker witnesses: Francis Baker; Sarah Greaves Note at bottom 'And at sealing hereof my master Holyoak counted deliverd 30 wrttings concerning (as they sayd) the said purchase lands after her Bror Baker had also counted them to be 30 Mrs Baker warpt them up in her cloathes took them away wt her Witness Sarah Greaves her mark' Attached in receipt for documents signed by Hannah Baker
