Description

Copy contract of commissioners for the redemption of land tax with Robert Knight of Barrels esq. for the redemption by him of £7 land tax charged on a messuage and c. 66 acres of land `called Hall' in Ullenhall and then in the occupation of Edward Cooper, also several inclosures whereon a house, buildings and premises had lately been erected near the Chapel in the same hamlet, and three others at Blunts Green and Danes Green in the occupation of George Harrison and John Harrison, and a wood or coppice in hand called Hobditch coppice of c. 50 1/4 acres, also an inclosure of pasture land called Hill Croft of c. 14 3/4 acres in Ullenhall in the occupation of the said George Harrison. Registered 26 March 1833, no. 117,884. Certified a true copy taken from the Registry, 6 June 1836. Endorsed: This contract includes all the property purchased by Mr. Knight of Mr. Clive. Purchase No. 26.
