Deed poll for determining the trusts for sale under the Act of 1808 (no. DR 225/22) being a declaration by Charles Raleigh Knight of 36 Montague Square co. Middx. esq. late a captain in Her Majesty's 25th regiment of infantry, reciting the will of Robert earl of Catherlough dated 11 February 1772, whereby after providing for the payment of certain annuities he devised all his estates in trust to the use of his eldest son Robert Knight for life, and to his sons in order of seniority in tail male, with remainder to his second son Henry Raleigh Knight and his sons likewise, and a codicil to the same dated 24 February 1772, and that testator died on 30 March 1772, and that Robert Knight married in 1791 the Hon. Frances Dormer spinster, who died in 1842 having had issue by him three children, viz. Henry Knight who was born 179[ ] and died an infant without issue, Frances Elizabeth Knight and Georgiana Knight, and that Henry Raleigh Knight married in 18[ ] Juliana Bolton spinster and died in 1836, having had issue by her four children viz. Henry Raleigh Knight jun. who died 18[ ] an infant and unmarried, the said Charles Raleigh Knight his only other son and two daughters, and reciting the Act of 1808, and that Robert Knight died on 5 January 1855 without leaving issue male as aforesaid, and no accounts having been rendered to him of the real and personal estates devised under the will of 1772, he the said Charles Raleigh Knight as surviving son of Henry Raleigh Knight and in pursuance of powers contained in the Act of 1808, declared the trusts for sale relating to such of the estates as then remained unsold to be determined and at an end, and directed the trustees to convey the said estates to the uses of the will of Robert earl of Catherlough.
