Copy of an order in the Court of Star Chamber, dated 27 January, 27 Elizabeth, dismissing a complaint brought before them by the mayor and commonalty of Coventrye against Arthur Gregorye and Edmund Gregorye concerning `the supposed forginge of a deede and courte rolle, counterfaytinge of handes, falsifyinge of an auncyent register booke, forginge of blanckes and divers other misdemeanours', there being no proof at all against the said Edmund, and only evidence of a misdemeanour against the said Arthur, which is outside the jurisdiction of the court.
