Description

Letter from William Dawes to John Gregory, referring to `the coort leit kept at o supr; towne by Sir Simon Clarkes st[u]ard' last week and an order whereby three juries from Brincklowe, Stretton and Paylton were enjoined to meet on the morrow at Brincklow `to set out wheare the Antient way of Fausse hath gone'. He advises him to consult his deeds and evidences, especially those of the Hill [Brinklow] to see how it is butted and bounded. Undated. Endorsed: To his worthey good frend Mr. John Gregory esq. of Stichall.
