Description

Letter, dated at London, from Thomas Starkye, alderman, to Mr. [Arthur] Grygorie, complaining that he had written to his cousin Scarninge for the money which Arthur owed him, and that Scarninge had replied to the effect that he had been told that Arthur had taken order with Thomas for it; marvelling that Arthur should so misinform Scarninge, and praying that the debt will soon be settled. Endorsed: i) To his frend Mr Arther Grygorie this be delyvered at Stychall ii) also a calculation by Arthur Gregory to work out two and a half years interest on a loan of 33 pounds.
