Conveyance by lease and release from Michael Evetts the elder, Old Stratford, collarmaker, Avice his wife, Michael Evetts the younger, Old Stratford of the first part, John Lacey, Stratford-upon-Avon, baker of the second part to Samuel Holtham, Stratford-upon-Avon, cooper and William Durham, Willersey, Glos., yeoman of the third part, of a messuage in Old Stratford on north side of the Stone Bridge, together with shop, warehouse and appurtenances. In Trust as marriage settlement between Michael Evetts the younger and Hannah Lacey daughter of John, to the use of Michael the younger, his intended wife Hannah and their heirs. 2 3 July 1747. Settlement as Jointure of same property in consideration £300, to which bride entitled by Michael Evetts, Old Stratford, yeoman, Hannah his wife and John Evetts, son and heir of the said Michael of the first part, Nathaniel Rouse, Newbold, Tredington, gent., John Rouse, Newbold, son and heir of Nathaniel, Ann Rouse, spinster, one of the daughters of the said Nathaniel of the second part to Edward Prestidge, Newbold, gent., and William Taylor, Talton, Tredington, gent. of the third part. Intended marriage between said John Evetts and Ann Rouse.
