Description
Abstract of the title of Frank Freeman and Henry George Alliban to two messuages in Shakespeare Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, reciting:
i) will of Edward Green of Stratford-upon-Avon, innkeeper, bequeathing to his brothers in law, James Tallis of Bishops Itchington, yeoman, and Edward Tallis of Claverdon, farmer, a messuage known as the One Elm and two messuages in Shakespeare Street; to hold for the benefit of his wife Mary for life, and, after her death, to sell the One Elm but to hold the messuages in Shakespeare Street in trust to pay from the rents and profits 4 shillings a week to the testator's grandson, Bertram Edward Green, until he reached the age of 21, and then to the absolute use of his daughter Hannah Freeman; 14 November 1865.
ii) death of testator, 21 June 1866, and of his wife, 19 March 1867, and grant of probate, 19 March 1867
iii) conveyance from Henry Cooke and Hannah his wife (formerly Hannah Freeman) to Frank Freeman and Henry George Alliban of the two messuages in Shakespeare Street, to hold as trustees; 17 June 1874
iv) mortgage of 20 June 1874 (DR1119/1)
v) death of Hannah Cooke, 21 March 1875
vi) will of of James Tallis, 8 November 1878, his death, 7 January 1879, and grant of probate, 19 February 1879
