Probate dated 17 June 1873 of the will (19 March 1873) of Rebecca Hiorns, Alveston, widow of John of Alveston (d. 1872) directing that cottage and garden in Alveston bequeathed to her by late husband be sold and profits equally divided between testatrix's niece Lucy Golder and her 5 children, viz. Thomas, Rebecca, John, Ellen, William. Same in re personal and household effects. Lucy Golder sole executrix. 21 July 1873 Letters of Administration with will annexed in re the goods of John Hiorns, Alveston, labourer (d. 28 Sept 1872) granted to Lucy Golder, wife of Henry, sole executrix of the will of Rebecca Hiorns, widow and sole legatee of John, who had not proved the will and who died June 1873.
