16 February 1836 Agreement between the owners of the Clopton Estate and John Gamaliel Lloyd for the sale and purchase of tithes worth £17 p.a. for £400 and an ozier bed and fishery worth £10.8s. p.a. for £200. 1 2 July 1836 Lease and release from William Williams, Bedford Square, Middx., gent. of the first part, Kenrick Collett, Fulham, Middx., esq. and the said William Williams of the second part, Samuel Stoddart of Haverstock Hill, Hampstead, Middx., esq., and Elizabeth his wife, formerly Elizabeth Meynell, widow (nee Thomas) of the third part, Francis Meynell of the same, esq., of the fourth part, Hugo Charles Meynell, Hoar Cross near Lichfield, Staffs. and Richard Halford, Canterbury, Kent., esq. of the fifth part, and Charles Meynell, Haverstock Hill, Hampstead, Middx., esq. of the sixth part, to John Gamaliel Lloyd, 'Welcombe Hall', Old Stratford, esq. of the seventh part, and Fisher Tomes, 'Clopton House', Old Stratford, esq. of the eighth part. [Parties 1-6 are Trustees of estate by virtue of the Will (30 July 1814, proved 1815), [See ER11/32/2 viii], of Charles Meynell, 'The Grove', Derby, esq., who had purchased the reversion of the estate on 4 September 1811 of Maria Noel, sister of Charles Boothby Clopton (formerly Skrymsher)] for £600 of an osier bed in Old Stratford in occupation Thomas Vincent; fishery in River Avon from chancel end of Stratford Church to the stone in the Ham, in the occupation of Thomas Vincent and tithes of corn and hay upon 'Oak Farm', Clopton, in the occupation of John Gamaliel Lloyd, Langley Grounds in Old Stratford, in the occupation of J. B. Freer and from Clopton Grounds, 'Calf Close', 'Marlpit Close', all in the occupation of .... Jackson. With covenant of even date to produce title deeds.
