Ilmington papers

Description

Draft release by John Banbury, late Cheltenham, now St. Anne's Bay, Jamaica, merchant (nephew and devisee in trust of William Banbury, late Darlingscot, Tredington, gentleman, deceased) to William Banbury, Cheltenham, currier (eldest brother of said John) of closes in Ilmington (25 acres). Reciting that said John conveyed said premises to said William by lease and release 3 4 June 1789 for £400, but that John was a minor at the time and therefore William's title is not lawful. This present release rectifies situation.
