[Contemporary copy] marriage settlement of Richard Newdigate son of Richard Newdigate, Serjeant at Law, and Mary, daughter of Sir Edward Bagott, Blithfield, Staffs., bart., whereby Richard Newdigate, serjeant-at-law, settles land in Long Itchington, purchased of Francis Williamson, Inner Temple, Esquire and John Jones, citizen and apothecary of London, upon trustees (said Sir Edward Bagott, German Pole, Radbourne, Derbys., Esquire George Parker, Willington, Sussex, Esquire and William Bagott, Betton, Salop., Esquire) to use of Richard Newdigate senior and junior for lives with remainder in tail male with provision for portions for daughters.
