Description

Gift from Henry Wynterfold' and Thomas Hampton', chaplain of the church of Hanbury to Henry Wheler' of Benteley and Margery his wife of all those lands and tenements which they held by the gift of the said Henry Wheler in Bentley and Tardebigg' and which formerly belonged to John Shiltewode of Chirlerey;
to hold for the lives of the said Henry and Margery and then to hold to Hugh Whelere of Benteley and Alice, daughter of Thomas Burneford' of Stoke, for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service.

Dated at Benteley on the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, 18 Richard II.
