Copy of the probate copy of the will of John Williams of Wolverhampton co. Stafford gent. John Thomas of Wolverhampton grocer was appointed executor of the said will, by which Susannah, wife of the said John Williams was to have the use of the estate during her lifetime, and after her death, when various legacies etc. had been paid, half the residue was to pass to Dorothy Jackson, wife of Samuel Raikes Jackson of Birmingham factor, and the other half of the residue was to be invested for Anne Painter wife of John Painter of Birmingham factor. Probate was granted 29 May 1815, when the estate was valued at under £1,500.
