Description

Assignment from George Sowtherne of Stratford-upon-Avon malster, with the consent and at the direction of Thomas Horne M.A. Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford, son, heir and executor of Thomas Horne of Stratford-upon-Avon deceased, and William Horsley of Henley-in-Arden surgeon, to John Ryland of Bearley yeoman of property described in DR150/1/3., the large messuage in the occupation of Thomas Cale cordwayner, and the two small tenements on the E. side, sold by William Shaw to Thomas Horne deceased, 17 April 1683, in the occupation of John Lydiatt and Robert Webb, all which property the said Thomas Horne devised by will to the said William Horsley to be sold to provide portions for his four younger children. To hold the same for Thomas Perks of Bearley gent. in trust to attend the inheritance.
