Description

Settlement on the marriage of John Rylye son and heir apparent of William Rylye of Draycott in Blockley, co. Worcs., yeoman, to Joan Mosely, daughter of Thomas Mosely of Broad Campden, co. Glos., yeoman, being a declaration that a conveyance of 2 November last from the said William Rylye and Joan his wife to Thomas Baldwyn of Saintbury, co. Glos., gentleman, of a messuage, close, two yardlands and three cottages in Draycott, was to create a prefect tenant of the freehold, so that, before the feast of St. Thomas next, a recovery of the said lands may be made by the said Thomas Mosely to the following uses: as to one half of the premises to the use of the said John Rylye and his intended wife Joan Mosely for their lives, with reversion to the heirs of their body; and as to the other half part, to the use of the said William Rylye and Joan his wife for their lives, with reversion to the said John Rylye and his heirs.
