Description

Conveyance by lease and release from William Gruby of Lester Street, Birmingham, labourer, and Elizabeth his wife, to Thomas Gibbs of Stratford-upon-Avon, clock and watchmaker, (reciting DR274/31 and that Ellen Gruby had died in 1830 before coining of age, whereupon the said premises had passed to the said William Gruby, brother and heir of the said Elizabeth Gruby) for £190, of two messuages in Stratford-upon-Avon in a court leading out of High Street, late in the tenures of Elizabeth Whitehead and John Purser, and now of ---- Rickman and others, between a malthouse formerly belonging to John Gruby, and a messuage of Elizabeth Whitehead; also a piece of garden ground between the garden of John Tasker, grocer, and a piece of garden ground adjoining the said malthouse.
