Copy will of William Lucas of Hunscote, farmer, bequeathing to his son Samuel Lucas his messuage in Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, in the tenure of Widow Phipps, his close of meadow land in Old Stratford in the tenure of William Tasker, and his messuage in or near the Market Place, Evesham, co. Worcs., in the occupation of William Partington; to trustees (Samuel Lucas, and John Hawkes of Hampton-on-the-Hills) £2000 to invest for the benefit of his wife during her widowhood, with remainder to his son, Samuel; to the same trustees, a further £2000 to invest for the benefit of his daughter, Sarah, for life, with remainder to her children (should she marry and have issue).
