Description

Deed to declare the uses of a fine between James Watkins of Stratford-upon-Avon, butcher, and Mary his wife, and Samuel Lucas of Hunscot, yeoman, reciting a conveyance, dated 13 and 14 May 1774 from James Watkins to Samuel Lucas, for £50, of two messuages in Sheep Street late in the tenures of Samuel Ames and Thomas Field but then unoccupied and lately bought by James Watkins from Luke Ames of Lichfield, co. Staffs., yeoman, between a tenement belonging to William Shakle on the west and a messuage belonging to Richard Bell on the east; and reciting that Samuel Lucas had since taken down the two messuages and built one on the site thereof.
