Assignment from John Slatter of Stratford-upon-Avon and Frederick Street of Lechlade, co. Gloucs., gentlemen to Grace Ashfield of 113 North Side, Clapham, co. London, spinster, (reciting DR221/21-22, that William Ashfield died on 5 September 1882, having made his will, dated 15 August, proved at Birmingham 20 November 1882, whereby he appointed his wife, Marian Ashfield, and the said John Slatter and Frederick Street executors thereof, and that the said Marian Ashfield had died on 1 June 1902) for £800, of the two recited mortgages of 25 March 1880 and 16 May 1881. Signed and sealed by J. L. Simmonds, 9 Albany Place, Stratford-upon-Avon, solicitor's clerk, and Mathew C. Innocent, Bank House, Lechlade, co. Gloucs., bank agent. Endorsed with reconveyance, dated 20 May 1909, from the said Grace Ashfield to Mary Ann Morgan of Stratford-upon-Avon widow, reciting that the said John Morgan died on 2 June 1908 having made his will (dated 3 June 1904, proved at Birmingham 15 July 1908) whereby he left all his estate to his wife, the said Mary Ann Morgan, for £800, of the premises described in DR221/21.
