Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Henry Richardson of Stratford-upon-Avon, whitesmith, to Henry Roberts of the same, esq., (reciting DR392/10 and 11 and that on 19 March last the said Henry Roberts had contracted for the purchase of the property described below since when he has pulled down the messuage and erected stables and other buildings) for £451 10s 0d, of the site on which a messuage had formerly stood (which, since the conveyance of 1801, had been converted into two messuages in the tenures of Thomas Southam, gardener, and William Tompkins) and the stables erected thereon with garden ground behind extending down to a lane leading out of the Binton Road into the Alcester Turnpike Road, having the garden of Henry Roberts on the north, newly-erected cottages belonging to John Lord on the north and west, the said lane on the west and Corporation property in the tenure of Thomas Mason on the south; also a small piece of land as exchanged with the Dissenting Meeting House (DR392/8) for a piece of land now used as part of a burial ground. Plan annexed.
