Probate copy of the will, dated 27 December 1722, of Thomas Newcomb of Brattford in Woolston, yeoman, with the following bequests: i) to his wife Elizabeth £5 ii) to his grandson John Newcomb the house rented by Thomas Smith in Brattford and a close in Hall hill and another called Nonong, when the said John comes of age iii) To his granddaughter Anna Newcomb £100, when she comes of age iv) The residue to his son Thomas Newcomb The said Thomas Newcomb appointed executor. Proved in the consistory court of Coventry and Lichfield.
