Settlement after the marriage of John Wilcox of Brandon gent. and Jane his wife, being a conveyance by way of lease and release from the said John Wilcox and Jane his wife to Edmund Bromwhich of Daventry gent. and Jane Atkinson of Daventry widow for £800 for the marriage portion of Mary, daughter of the said Jane Atkinson, wife of Robert Wilcox, son and heir of the said John Wilcox, of a messuage in High Street, Coventry, at the corner of Little Park street, now in the tenure of William Benford and Francis Cater, and two other messuages in High Street, now in the tenure of Mary Cobley widow, Abraham Carter, John Lilley and William Clifton, three messuages in Hey Lane, Coventry, in the tenure of Thomas Martin, Thomas Hawks and Richard Mitchell and a messuage partly in Hey Lane and partly in Bayly Lane, Coventry, now in the tenure of Humphrey Thacker, a messuage in Bayly Lane, in the tenure of John Bishopp and Katherine Cooke widow, a messuage in Little Park Street, now in the tenure of Ann Wright, spinster, with a yardland in the same street in the tenure of Mary Hobley and Margaret Drow widow, six messuages in Spond Street, Coventry, in the tenure of Richard Mathew, Robert Lot, William Bates, John Holeing, John Croxall and William Burbage; to hold to the use of the said John Wilcox and Jane his wife for their lives and after their deaths to the use of the said Robert Wilcox and his heirs for ever.
