Transfer of mortgage dated 19 December 1865 by Charles Halford of Newbold, miller and Thomas Halford, Newbold, farmer, to William Brooks, Camberwell, Surrey, gentleman, and Elizabeth Brooks his wife for £300 on a messuage in Ely Street in the occupation of of Charles Gardner and lately erected messuages behind same, lately in the occupation of John Hemming, then of Joseph Gilbert with parts of Russell Court at rear of last erected by William Bourton and two leasehold houses in Ely Street in the occupation of Mary Cooper and Henry Parker, subject to lease for 900 years dated 20 May 1659. Recitals: (1) 14 May 1856 Mortgage by John Court, Stratford-upon-Avon, to Thomas Halford, Alderminster, for £300 of premises (2) 1 Nov 1858 Death of Thomas Halford having demised estates to Charles and Thomas Halford by will dated 22 December 1855
