Description
Return from John Henry Capper, Superintendant of Convicts, Whitehall, to effect that Thomas Lewis, convicted at Surrey Assizes, March 1816, appeared on Muster Roll of convicts for NSW in 1825 as servant to Mrs. Mills at Evan, but not on that for 1828 or subsequently. With draft reply from John Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, requesting further information as to original term of transportation and best means to ascertain date of death, if occurred, of Thomas Lewis.
