Sir Francis Compton of Kew, Surrey, and Dame Mary his wife, Mark Hildesley of Lincoln's Inn esq. and Paul Bowes of Middle Temple esq. to Roger Gillingham and John Proby of Middle Temple esqs. for £300 to the said Sir Francis Compton and 5s. to the said Mark Hildesley and Paul Bowes of a close and half yardland of arable, meadow and pasture land in Grandborough in the tenure of William Smith and a close in Grandborough in the tenure of John Woodfall; a half yardland of arable, meadow and pasture land in the common field of Grandborough, in the tenure of Baruth Baseley; a messuage and land in Grandborough which was mortgaged by John Hill and Alice his wife to the use of Sir Thomas Trevor, knight of the Order of Bath, Bart., and by him bequeathed to the said Dame Mary Compton and by her conveyed to Mary Fortray, wife of Philip Parker esq. and by her conveyed to the said Sir Francis Compton and Samuel Fortray.
