Description

Recital of a composition at the instance of John [Carpenter] Bishop of Worcester, between William Berkeswell, Dean of the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, Warwick, and William Onne [or rather Orme] vicar of Budbrok [Budbrooke, co. Warwick] fixing the emoluments and duties of the said vicar: 12 July 1467. Copied at the instance of Sir Robert Dormer, Knt., by Henry Rogers, Steward of his manor of Budbrooke, and inspected by the Bailiff and Burgesses of Stratford upon Avon at a Hall held 22 November 35 Elizabeth [1592]. Latin. On the back are the names of those present at the Hall, viz: Richard Quiney, "highe baylif", Will.
