Richard Quyney to some patron unnamed, describing himself as `the poore suter for Stratforde uppon Avon, whose purse is weakened with longe lyeinge in London and harte muche greeved he cann [not] effecte to th' expectation of hys neigheboures thys poor sute with more speed and less charge' and praying his `Worrshipp' to `hasten the ende of thys sute, the rather for that our collector, albeit offered all reason, wyll nott deteyne the first xxiiiili our Taxe in hys handes untyll our sute be answered, thoughe Sr Jhon Fortyscue have geeven warrant he shulde be harmeles in the deteyninge the same' etc. Undated.
