Devises messuage and premises in Alveston in occupation Clarke (subject to life estate under Marriage Settlement 1808 of husband to nephew and niece Rev. Edward Rice and Susannah Rice, subject to payment of annuity of £20 to testator's brother George Gibbs. Personal estate after death of husband to sister Alice Rice who is sole executrix. 23 July 1827 Codicil revokes bequest of personal estate to sister Alice, gives to husband absolutely who also sole executor.
